Liquid Ecoline watercolour paint from Royal Talens is suitable for dyeing crepe paper, giving a natural, vibrant look with many possibilities for variation.

The paints come in glass bottles with a pipette, so you can easily control the amount. They can be used for both dry dyeing and dyeing moist paper.

If you want to dye wet crepe paper, start by dampening the paper and then squeezing out most of the water. Then, dip the paper into the colour mixture you have prepared. Watercolour paint is usually diluted with water and can also be mixed with other colours to achieve precisely the shade you desire.

The paint is concentrated and therefore very economical to use.

Remember to protect your table during work, and possibly wear gloves if you want to avoid getting paint on your hands.
